Which Tesla models are compatible with myQ?

All Model Y and Model 3; new Model S and Model X built in 2021 or later.
 

What service plan options are available for Tesla + myQ functionality?

There are three service plans options available:

  • $45 for 1 year (auto-renewing) 
  • $179 for 5 years (auto-renewing) 
  • $299 for 10 years (1-time purchase) 


Can I enable my myQ Connected Garage service plan to an additional Tesla?

  • Your Tesla + myQ Connected Garage service plan is tied to your myQ account, not the vehicle
  • In the additional vehicle, follow the linking process as if you are a first-time user
  • Your compatible myQ devices and paid service plan will be applied to the additional Tesla


How do I transfer my Tesla service plan to a new Tesla?

  • Your Tesla + myQ Connected Garage service plan is tied to your myQ account, not the vehicle
  • This means you must:
    • First, unlink from myQ Connected Garage in your old Tesla
  • Next, you can link to myQ Connected Garage in your new Tesla. Your compatible myQ devices and paid service plan will be applied to the additional Tesla


Can a myQ Co-Owner or a myQ Guest link myQ Connected Garage with Tesla?

In your Tesla, you will ONLY be able to access myQ connected garage(s) that are added to your linked myQ account or shared as a myQ Co-Owner.

You can NOT access myQ connected garages shared as a myQ Guest in your Tesla.


What devices can I control/monitor in my Tesla?

You can control and monitor your myQ-compatible garage door with an active service plan. CLICK HERE to see if your garage door opener is myQ compatible.


How do I cancel my Tesla + myQ Connected Garage service plan?

You can manage and cancel your service plan by logging into myqservices.com with your myQ credentials. After canceling your service plan, you will be able to use the myQ Connected Garage service for the rest of the service plan period that was paid for. Canceling the service plan will not refund the amount already paid for the service plan.


Do I have to enter my credit card information for a free trial?

In order to start your free trial, no credit card is needed. If you wish to continue your myQ Connected Garage premium service after the free 30-day trial, you will need to select a service plan from myqservices.com and provide a credit card.


If I have HomeLink installed, can I still link to myQ Connected Garage?
